BEOF started just like many other Head Start programs—with 15 students in a YMCA classroom in 1965—and has since expanded into a large Community Action Partnership (CAP) agency. Among our many Head Start programs, we provide essential services to the community, including early childhood education, rental assistance, energy and weatherization services, senior nutrition, Meals on Wheels, and financial empowerment programs.

This event will be a celebration of our impact, featuring a mix of performances across multiple genres, including Motown, Freestyle, R&B, and today’s music, bringing together agencies and supporters from across New Jersey. We are also excited to have special guests Judy Torres and George Lamond, who will be performing some of their iconic 80s freestyle hits.

What makes this event especially meaningful is its commitment to giving back—20% of net proceeds will be donated to local nonprofits, carefully selected by our board to support those most in need.
